A special forest in the heart of the Paneveggio Park in Trentino. Thanks to the right mix of sun and humidity and the slow growth of its trees, the wood acquires an exceptional ability to amplify sound. Since the beginning of the 17th century, these ‘resonance firs’ have attracted violin makers from all over the world, in search of the perfect wood for their handcrafted creations. And it seems that Stradivari himself went there several times to personally choose the raw material for the soundboxes of his prestigious violins.
